💚 What Does Macmillan Do?

1. Practical Support

   • Offers financial guidance, including help with benefits, grants, and managing the cost of cancer.

   • Provides practical help with day-to-day challenges such as transport, housing, and work-related concerns.

2. Emotional Support

   • Offers counselling and someone to talk to via their support line and community services.

   • Trained Macmillan professionals offer one-on-one support to those dealing with the emotional impact of a diagnosis.

3. Medical & Nursing Care

   • Funds and supports Macmillan Nurses, who specialize in cancer care and provide expert guidance and comfort to patients and families.

   • Offers support in hospitals and communities across the UK.

4. Information & Advocacy

   • Provides clear, reliable information about different types of cancer, treatment options, and coping strategies.

   • Advocates for better cancer care policies and patient rights.
